Bollywood dance is a fusion style popularized by the Bollywood film industry.
Its origin lies in Bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance, and several classical styles: Kathak, Odissi, and Bharatnatyam. More recently, Bollywood dance has incorporated elements of street, hip-hop, jazz, and other commercial styles.
AK Bollywood Dance aims to spread awareness of Bollywood dance in London.
This is the perfect introductory class for those new to Bollywood, as well as offering something fresh each week to those with prior dance experience.
Classes are designed to help you relax, increase your fitness levels and build your confidence.

AK KIDS
Does your child love to dance, listens to music and is full of energy. Our Toddler’s classes are perfect to help nurture their interest and develop their skills in dance. Bollywood dance helps build children’s confidence, co-ordination and learn skills of dance.
Our classes are designed so kids can engage through props, visuals, songs and and games. We aim to go through a variety of dance styles, hip hop, Bollywood, bhangra and folk. Our sessions Start with a 5 minute warm up and then fun choreography session, break time which involves game and chit chat to help develop kids confidence and communication. We round of the session with a fantastic parent and child workshop which our parents love!

Children’s Advance dance classes are for kids that really want to develop their dance ability, broaden their styles of dance and opportunities. It’s a great way for kids to channel their seemingly boundless energy whilst having a lot of fun in the process.
Kid’s will work towards forming professional troupes, gain opportunities for stage performances and also theatre work. You can rest assured that classes will build your child’s confidence, self-esteem and help them to gain knowledge about Indian art and culture.
