Kid's Valentine's Afternoon Tea Workshop

After popular demand and request from all, we are hosting a Valentine's workshop.  Learn to Bake Scones and Sandwiches and then try slow dance with your parents and ending with a family game.

Dress to impress!  Boys in smart clothes shirts and ties Girls in party dresses.

What you will need for baking scones: (we will be weighing ingredients together in the workshop)

1. 200g Self Raising Flour
2. Pinch of salt
3. 35g margarine
4. 1 tbsp normal sugar
5. 120ml milk

You will also need:

• Clotted cream
• Jam
• Few Strawberries
• Baking tray to fit 8 scones and a sieve
• Ingredients for sandwiches –

1. Bread
2. Cheese
3. Cucumbers
4. Margarine
5. Milk or hot chocolate to drink

For the Table decoration please use what you have (kids will be arranging the table as part of our activity)

• Table cloth
• Cups and saucers
• Serving plates for the scones and sandwiches
• Teapot for the hot chocolate or milk
• Paper – 2 per person
• Colour Pens
• Scissors
